My core contributions to the rebrand of Edlong focused on defining and executing the new visual identity to modernize the company and differentiate it in the competitive flavor house category.

 

I was Lead Designer in developing the new brand identity, ensuring the system balanced scientific authority with artisanal craftsmanship through design choices like marble textures and handwritten typography. I was also responsible for the website graphics and designing essential print collateral and social media assets to maintain brand consistency across various channels.

 

This comprehensive transformation proved to be an award-winning success. The refreshed identity and redesigned website not only earned a 2021 Web Design Award from GDUSA but also delivered measurable business growth, including a 15% increase in qualified leads and overall business expansion.

Challenge And Outcome

  1. The Challenge- Edlong, a leader in dairy and dairy-like innovation, needed to modernize its brand to reflect both its scientific expertise and artisanal craftsmanship in a competitive B2B market.

  2. The Goal - Create a distinctive brand identity and website that set Edlong apart from its competitors.

  3. The Approach - Under the direction of the Creative and Art Director, graphic elements such as marble textures, handwritten fonts, and farmhouse-inspired illustrations were developed to strike the right balance between innovation and craftsmanship.

  4. The Outcome - The rebrand and redesigned website earned a 2021 Web Design Award from GDUSA and led to a 15% increase in qualified leads and overall business growth.
